Heavenly Stranger

Today the familiar stranger waltzed into my world
Transforming reality into a dream, I was sure
For how else could I explain the visions in my head
The barrier that exploded within my heart
Razed in an instant by this mad demolition expert
This man whose mouth spilt honey when he spoke
Whose lips hath the beauty of a thousand roses
Whose words rang heavenly chords from an angelic choir
I caught myself hanging upon his every word
Anxiously anticipating the release of his next thought
Astounded, mesmerized and captivated by his presence
Time seemed to lose all meaning in this instant
I found myself praying that this dream would never end
